M O N T A N A: A PHOTO JOURNAL

A little sneak peak into the beautifully underrated and blissful state that is Montana.

Before I dive into a wordy description of Montana, there is one thing that must be recognized; there are no adequate words in the English dictionary to describe this gem of a place, but I'll try my best to paint a picture and capture the spirit with what we got and for what I cannot explain in words, hopefully the pictures will do some slight justice.

Montana (derived from the Spanish word montaña meaning mountain) is an untamed landscape of vast snow capped mountains, glacial waters and grassy ranches that serves as a wild backdrop for the grizzlies and bison that roam unamused by their effortlessly euphoric surroundings. The free spirit of the frontier and all that inhabit is absolutely undeniable.

Polebridge, Montana: Population 3. Just kidding, but seriously a remote little town in the Northfork of Glacier National Park. This quaint red building above is the only Mercantile store (locally called "the merc") in the area. Ate a little slice of heaven aka huckleberry pie and traveled the unforgiving, but absolutely gorgeous dirt road to the crisp Kitla Lake where we sipped cabernet by the fire.

I mean, come on! Who wouldn't want to feast their eyes on this. It automatically makes you feel so much gratitude toward this beautiful earth we call home. If you ever get a chance to visit Montana, go and take it all in. It will resonate with you forever.
